Finding themselves fighting for third place is unusual for the Netherlands. But it's the situation currently facing beleaguered boss Danny Blind and his players. The Dutch have so far stumbled through their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign. But a match against Group A minnows Kazakhstan could be the perfect tonic for the nation that last won this tournament back in 1988.Here are the schedule and streaming details:Date:Saturday, October 10Time:5 p.m. (BST)/12 p.m. (ET)Live Stream: Sky Go.PreviewThe key to reviving Holland's fortunes is Blind getting the balance right up front. It doesn't help that senior striker Robin van Persie is enduring a torrid time at club level.Van Persie's issues with new team Fenerbahce are a concern for Blind, according to Goal.com's David Manuca. Specifically, Manuca reports that Blind is not happy the former Arsenal and Manchester United man is currently languishing on the bench so often:"For Van Persie and for us this is not the most ideal situation. You want your players to play."Blind's squad needs Van Persie back to his prolific best. Along with Memphis Depay, he represents his country's best bet to pile up the goals. That's something sure to make a difference for any third-placed team's qualification bid.It doesn't help that mercurial winger Arjen Robben is still making a comeback from injury. The Bayern Munich veteran is the one true match-winner in Blind's squad. But what would really help is Blind putting a stop to his team's generosity at the back. The Dutch have conceded 10 goals from eight qualification fixtures, as noted by Sky Sports. While that's still better than the 16 Kazakhstan have yielded, it's the one number that most explains the Netherlands' position in the table. Blind's already fragile defence has been further hampered by Newcastle United full-back Daryl Janmaat being ruled out, according to Sky Sports. But the manager's son, Manchester United utility man Daley Blind, is determined to pick up the slack, per Mirror reporter David McDonnell:I want my dad to be the national coach next after these next two games. The formula for those two games has to be wins while Turkey lose or draw the final two fixtures, according to McDonnell. It's a tall order but not impossible.Even with so many issues, the Netherlands remain a good bet to leave the Astana Arena having secured three vital points. Once again, Blind's men won't win many plaudits, but a 2-0 victory shouldn't be beyond them.
