Pillars get N75m boost

PLAYERS of Kano Pillars will soon smile as the state government has approved N75 million to offset some allowances owed them.Goal.com learnt that the money has already been approved and will be released in no distant time.Media Officer Idris Malikawa told Goal.com that they are eagerly awaiting the release of the money so that the players can be further boosted to do their best in the Nigeria Premier League."Yes it is true that the money has been approved. All we are waiting for is for the money to get to the hands of the club management so that the players will be encouraged to win all their matches in the league."The approval of the money I am sure will help the players concentrate on the matches at hand especially the home game against Rising Stars this Wednesday in Kano."The fact that we are presently on top of the league table means that all hands must be on deck and that is the commitment that the State Government has shown."We are going to justify the confidence reposed in us and will not fail our supporters who are daily praying for us to win the Premier League title," Malikawa said.Kano Pillars are on top of the league table with 33 points from 20 matches.
