1 killed over Chelsea/Barcelona match in Lagos

A 23-year-old boy, John Idoko, was reportedly killed at a pub in Lagos, during a scuffle between fans of Barcelona and Chelsea football clubs on Tuesday.The victim, Nigerian Tribune learnt, was stabbed to death at the pub located at 10, Atan Street, Oniwo, Shasha.According to police sources, an altercation degenerated into fisticuffs, while the supporters of the two clubs engaged in a free-for-all.The spokesman for the state police command, Mr Joseph Jaiyeoba, confirmed the incident, but, however, said no arrest had been made, as no witness had come forward.
