June will be hectic - Keshi

HOLIDAYING Super Eagles chief coach, Stephen Keshi says he is aware of the hectic schedule awaiting him in the country come June, when he leads the national team out against tough opponents like Namibia, Rwanda and Malawi in key Nations Cup qualifiers.Calling from the United States, the former Mali and Togo coach told Tribunesports that though he is on vacation, he was busy monitoring Nigerian players in Europe, especially those he considered central to his plan when he starts inviting players for the busy June schedule.'' I can assure you that I am painstakingly monitoring those guys I think will add value to my team. I want to prosecute my game plan by inviting a large pool of players.''He noted that it is not enough to just invite anybody because they are playing outside the country.''Mark you I'm in contact with my assistants in Nigeria, and don't be surprised because as soon as I touch down, we will kickstart our programme for the busy month of June. You guys know I have to play the likes of Rwanda, Malawi and Namibia, and by all standard, this is not an easy schedule,'' said Keshi.He declined to reveal names of likely foreign based players that will make his team, but hinted: ''We already have our nucleus at home, so we will be building on that.
