We visited a type of underground drone racing in London that could be the Formula 1 of the future

Earlier this month,Britain had its first-ever"FPV," or first person view, indoor drone race.In FPV drone racing pilots strap ongoggles, which stream video from a camera attached to the front of the drone. This give competitors a much more immersive experience as they race their flying machines around the track at high speeds.Right now, FPV drone racing is a tiny, niche activity. A few dozen people attend each event. But its organisers and participants have very high hopes for the sport.We attended an event to see what the fuss is about.The event was held at an old airsoft arena in East London.It wasn't the most inviting of venues.The drone "racetrack" itself was a mock village.
