Jonathans victory birth of a new Nigeria -FCT minister

THE election of President Goodluck Jonathan heralds the birth of a new Nigeria, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has asserted.In a congratulatory letter to the president, Mohammed observed that Jonathan secured a pan-Nigeria victory to create a new vista for the country.The minister specifically stated that the election of the president was a signpost of the birth of a new Nigeria as a united nation, where all citizens enjoy equal privileges and opportunities irrespective of socio-cultural and geographical diversities.A statement by the special assistant (media) to the minister, Mr Nosike Oguenyi, said the congratulatory message was issued by the minister on behalf of his family, the FCT Administration and the entire residents of the nations capital.Mohammed said the outcome of the result was a manifestation of the yearning of majority of Nigerians for change, and a triumph of one Nigeria based on common brotherhood.Part of the letter read, Having been privileged to work under your administration for the past one year, I am doubly convinced that you possess the required qualities to take this country to a deserving higher level.The giant strides recorded by your administration in various sectors like power, transportation, infrastructure, energy, education, health and national integration among others, clearly show that you are the right man to midwife the birth of a new Nigeria.
