After laboring through an injury-plagued 2014-15 season, Kevin Durant's latest ailment to his hamstringmay cause panic among the Oklahoma City Thunder faithful.Continue for updates.Durant Ruled Out for Remainder of Tuesday's GameTuesday, Nov. 10Durant started against the Washington Wizards, playing 17 minutes in the first half and scoring 14 points, but Howard Beck of Bleacher Report noted he would not return in the second half because of a left hamstring strain.After the game, Thunder head coach Billy Donovan said Durant would be further evaluated on Wednesday, but noted the issue "didn't sound too serious," per Royce Young of ESPN.Heading into Tuesday, Durant was averaging 30.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 50.3 percent from the field. After being one of the NBA's iron men from 2007 through 2013, Durant faced adversity last season. He suffered a foot injury in the preseason and missed the first month of the regular season. For 27 games, Durant looked like the reigning MVP, but he was back on the shelf for good in February.Durant was cleared for full activities before training camp, so there were no lingering effects in his recovery from the foot issues. Getting into game action was the biggest step for the 27-year-old in his road back.Last year was a mess for the Thunder, who still wound up in the playoff mix with 45 wins despite not having Durant for most of the year.Serge Ibakaalso missed the final 18 games after undergoing surgery on his right knee.Oklahoma City is one of the Western Conference's best teams when everyone is healthy and on the same page.However, after last year, Durant's latest setback is going to cause everyone to hold their breath and hope for the best. He's one of the NBA's top players when on the court, so hopefully this is just a minor blip on the radar.
