Osikorobia, broke into my box and removed my WAEC certificate l obtained from Government College, Ughelli, forged it and used it to secure admission into Florida State University (USA) where he bagged First and Master's degrees in Agriculture.'He also used the documents to contest for Ughelli North Council chairmanship election and won but everything turned around when Hon. Osikorobia identity card from Florida State was seen bearing two names ' Dave George Osikorobia.'The family had several years quietly confronted Hon. Osikorobia with the issue but he refused to give a satisfactory explanation, coupled with his extreme negative behavour that led to the Osikorobia's family leadership taking a decision to make the issue public.'When my late father, Mr Spana Osikorobia, died in 1991, his estate was shared in accordance with Urhobo tradition and custom by his Owhefe family and elders of Emeragha community among the first son, last born and his other 12 children from six gates, where I got my late father's wife, his room and parlour, Okor land where he was processing oil farm and a bicycle and other assets, according to tradition.'The whole controversy came from the sharing of my late father's property when the fourth son, Hon. George Osikorobia rebuilt the late Osikorobia family compound and was claiming the compound and the issue was brought before the elders of the Emeragha community traditional council where it was decided in my favour as custom demanded being the eldest son, but Hon George defied the decision of the community.'Reacting to the allegation when contacted, Hon. George Osikorobia described the allegation as mere fallacy and total blackmail and challenged his elder brother (Mr. Dave Osikorobia) to go to court if what he said were facts.Osikorobia said that the allegation of certificate forgery and unlawful possession of family property were falsehood and mere fabrication to tarnish his image. He said, 'I did not acquire any family property or denied anybody of family property and l did not forge anybody's certificate. Anybody that feels l forged his certificate should go to court, simple.'I have shown you all my certificates and l know you did not found any one bearing my eldest brother's name, Mr Dave Osikorobia as he claimed. Right from my school days to Florida University in USA the name l bear in my visa and that is why l have said they were all fabricated stories. Do you know my brother had even requested me giving him N20, 000,000 to forget about the certificate forgery, let him go to court.
