Babs Animashaun, founder of national parent-teacher association, is dead

Alhaji Babs Animashaun, the National Coordinator and Founder, National Parent Teacher Association of Nigeria (NAPTAN), is dead. He died on Sunday, his wife, Alhaja Biola Animashaun, has said.She told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at their Surulere, Lagos home, on Monday, that he died at about 6.00 a.m. on Sunday.Animashaun said that her husband died during a brief illness at the age of 77 at the First Cardiology Consultant Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos."He has been sick for about two months, but was showing signs of recovery.
