Gulder Ultimate 5-A-side for Oleh

ALL is set for the Mid-Western regional qualifying matches in the ongoing Gulder Ultimate Five Aside Football Competition, scheduled to kick-off this weekend at the Oleh Township stadium, Oleh, Delta State.The Mid-Western qualifying matches will be played from today to Sunday.The best two teams that qualify out of the hundreds of teams that registered to participate will represent the zone at the finals of the annual football competition scheduled for June in Lagos.The teams from the Mid-Western zone will join Port Harcourt City Academy and Network FC from the South-South zone; Ultimate FC and Etienne FC from the South-East Zone and Supremes FC and Gidan Bege FC from the North-Central Zone, who are already through to the finals.Reacting to the level of team play, talent and skill display seen so far, the Marketing Manager - Lager, Nigerian Breweries Plc., Mr. Tony Agenmonmen, said: 'The Gulder Ultimate Five A side Football competition is living up to its billings and objective as a unique platform for raw grassroots football talents to display their skills and develop their football potentials. From Makurdi to Enugu, through to Port Harcourt, we have seen talented footballers that may hopefully rise to the ultimate stardom they aspire to.
