Where is The Love on TILB

Published by Lailas Blog on Fri, 04 Dec 2015

Few days ago, I made a post on the Lailas cupid platform about a blog reader Dr. Chukwubuikem, a medical doctor based at Asaba who wanted a wife. The next day, Another blog reader Dr. Micheal who is also a medical doctor also sent in a funny piece in which he also made a theatrical comic request for a spouse. When I saw the content of the mail which came without a picture, I knew I had to make some necessary research into the personality of the blog reader who sent the mail before publication.I sourced for information on Dr. Micheal's personality, his photos and his relationship/marital status and I found out he was actually single and truly searching so I published his comical request with a footnote where I tried to explain that Dr. Micheal was just a funny character but meant business in his quest for a partner just like some other blog readers who have funny sides yet are very serious accomplished people. I even called the innocent easy going young man a clown just to pass the message across.Unfortunately, Some blog readers even the supposedly humorous ones for reasons best known to them choose to take the post the other way. Majority are people who list humor as a quality they wanted in their potential spouse. I tried to explain what I discovered about the funny personality of Dr Micheal in the comment section yet the opinion makers of the blog had already made up their minds and hurled different shades of hateful abuses on the young blog reader and my person. These class of readers believed that Dr. Pinnacle Chukwubuikem and Dr. Micheal Duru were the same person and that I was intentionally ridiculing the Laila's Cupid platform by allowing all my readers equal rights in publication. They warned that I musnt publish everything I receive. This same school of thought accused me yesterday of ignoring some peoples mails and publishing some yet they also want me to ignore Dr. Micheal's mail even though I have ascertained that he had a genuine interest in settling down.I want to categorically state thatDr. Pinnacle Chukwubuikem (based at Asaba) and Dr. Micheal Duru (based at Ekiti) are different persons and are in no way related.I have never and will never ignore to publish any amongst my esteemed readers who spared time and MB in these difficult times to send in a mail except in a situation where the mail lacks substance or value. That TILbers like Barong Nku has always been among my worst critics but she does her criticism via inbox instead of spreading hate on the comment section and for that I respect her.I am writing this so that we can all re access our priorities and the ease with which we hurl stones on people who have done nothing to offend us. I speak of people who came to Lailasblog in search of a family. In our wisdom, lets spread love no hateLailas cupid has created a marriage successfully and will continue to create relationships and marriages.
