WWE Raw: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for December 7

Published by Bleacher Report on Mon, 07 Dec 2015

A wealth of work needs to be done on the final WWE Raw before theTLC pay-per-view.The Divas champ needs a challenger. The PPV card needs additional entries. And the world title bout between Roman Reigns and Sheamus lacks the buzz WWE surely wants for it.Last week, The Celtic Warrior formed The League of Nations. That new faction promises to sit on center stage as WWE wraps up the build to its final PPV of the year. But where will Sheamus' comradesKing Barrett, Rusev and Alberto Del Riofit onto the card'A lot of the pieces to the booking puzzle don't have their spots yet. WWE will be busy during Raw's three hours to remedy that.North Charleston, South Carolina, will play host to it all. An online tease suggests that fans will see another ECW star join the fray. In addition, a report revealed that a giant returned to the house show circuitpossibly a precursor to his reemergence on Raw.James Wortman's five-point preview on WWE.com offers a number of hints at what to expect on Monday's show, as well.News, Potential SpoilersKevin Owens went home with an illness last week, missing out on Raw. Owens confirmed the news on Twitter:He's now ready to climb into the ring again. PWInsider's Dave Scherer reported, "Owens is back on the house show loop for WWE, over the illness that caused him to miss Raw and Smackdown."Owens has a battle with Dean Ambrose at TLC to worry about, but will he also be joining forces with Sheamus'According to PWInsider (h/t Wrestling Inc), Owens was set to be a part of last week's main event, although it's not clear whether he was going to be a part of The League of Nations.Tommy Dreamer and The Dudley Boyz formed their own posse on last week's Raw.It now looks like he's sticking around for a while. As Steven Fernandesnotedon PWInsider, Dreamer is scheduled for a number of WWE house shows in December and January. That points to Dreamer continuing to be a part of The Dudley Boyz's rivalry with The Wyatt Family. That trio may not be alone, though.Bubba Ray Dudley teased on Twitter that another ECW star is on the way:WWE fans may also see Big Show in action for the first time in weeks. He's at least back to working house shows.Mike Johnson of PWInsiderreported, "Big Show, who hasn't been on the road much lately, is scheduled for this weekend's live events after being at the WWE Performance Center earlier this week."James Caldwell noted for PWTorch, "The full advertised talent roster includes Sheamus, Reigns, Ambrose, Owens, Kane, Ryback, and the Wyatts." Big Show isn't on that list. While Kane is, he hasn't shown up for weeks and isn't a part of any ongoing storylines, so chances are that he doesn't make an appearance on Monday night.TLC Card Needs More Bouts, Momentum AplentyMonday's Raw promises to lead to a number of new matches for the TLC PPV. As of now, only three matches are official for the event, per WWE.com:Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose (Intercontinental Championship)The New Day vs. The Lucha Dragons vs. The Usos (Ladder match for Tag Team Championship)Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns (TLC match for WWE World Heavyweight Championship)Recent developments point to what will fill out the card. For one, it certainly looks like The Wyatt Family will be battling Dreamer and the Dudley brothers in some capacity. Last week, Bray Wyatt and his crew laid out the babyfaces. Revenge is sure to be on their minds come Monday. In his five-point preview, Wortman wrote, "The Dudley Boyz and The Innovator of Violence never back down from a challenge, and will no doubt be looking for some payback against The Wyatt Family on Raw."On last Thursday's SmackDown, WWE initiated a story that may result ineither an alliance or a feud between The Miz and Neville. The self-proclaimed A-lister tried to offer his services to Neville.Wortman asked, "Will The Man That Gravity Forgot take the bearer of 'The Moneymaker' up on his offer to serve as his mentor, or will Neville keep his distance, given The Miz's notorious self-serving tendencies'"This may be something WWE is building toward for later on, or TLC may be sticking these two in the pre-show match.Charlotte doesn't have a match lined up for the PPV. Her own ally may end up being her challenger. The Divas champ is in the midst of an apparent heel turn, angering Becky Lynch with questionable tactics of late.Of her tease toward heel-dom, Wortman wrote, "Are we now seeing the 'real' Charlotte'"And where does Paige fit into all of this' Is she still in contention'In addition to TLC's midcard offerings, Raw'sfocus is likely to remain on Reigns' stable battling The League of Nations. For one, the two groups' leaders have a WWE title match to hype.Wortman also hinted at more chaos between them.Hewrote, "Will Reigns and his crew continue to bring the fight to Sheamus and his 'lads' on Raw' Moreover, how will these two groups change the landscape of WWE TLC'"It will be intriguing to see if The League of Nations can gain some real traction as WWE also tries to prop up Reigns as a No. 1 guy. The foursome has huge potential if presented properly.Their prospects as a group are more interesting as of now than a TLC event that is behind on the building-momentum process.
