Green Records 5th Straight 1,000-Yard Season to Start Career

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green went over 1,000 receiving yards for the year in Sunday's 37-3 win over the in-state rival Cleveland Browns, joining Randy Moss as the only players in NFL history to record 1,000 or more receiving yards in each of their first five seasons, per SportsCenter on Twitter.Moss actually reached the mark in his first six campaigns from 1998 to 2003, before finally falling shy of 1,000 yards during an injury-marred 2004 season.Green struggled with a few different injuries last year, but he still managed to scrape out 1,041 yards in 13 games, thanks in large part to his four separate outings with 120 or more yards, including one with a whopping 224.Although he isn't the most consistent of the NFL's upper-echelon receivers, Green always seems to make up for his down games by single-handedly putting the Cincinnati offense on his back in two or three contests per year.He did exactly that in Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens (227 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-24 win), and again in Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers (118 yards and a touchdown in a 16-10 win).He'll face that same Steelers team on Sunday, and the Bengals will have a shot to clinch their second AFC North title in three seasons.
