Fantasy Football Rankings: Week 14 Big Board

Published by Bleacher Report on Wed, 09 Dec 2015

Four weeks remain in the NFL regular season, which puts us into crunch time for fantasy football. For many, Week 14 is the start of the playoffs or possibly the last chance to make that playoff push. No matter the format, any game played this late in the season comes with higher stakes, which is why my decision-making comes down to trust.Ive compiled these rankings as I always do, with emphasis on talent, situation, role, recent performance, injuries and matchup. The issue of trust becomes even more important, as it can be the factor that pushes someone such as New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick into my top 12 based on how he's played both over the course of the season and in recent weeks with the team in a playoff race.Dont get me wrong; I know you may have to reach deep to get the last spot in your lineup, which may explain why Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett is worth a look Week 14, even as a rookie. Thats a calculated move using a player with a beatable matchup (Baltimore Ravens) on a team coming on strong (Seattle Seahawks) with a reliable quarterback whos been looking Locketts way (Russell Wilson). Its a perfect example of leaning toward a situation I trust to help settle an important move. For that same lineup spot, I had Ravens wide receiver Kamar Aiken ranked close to Lockett, and while Aiken has put up better numbers for the season, I gave Lockett the nod because of my trust in Wilson and the Seahawks over Matt Schaub at the Ravens. You may use my rankings as a guide to help set your lineups for Week 14, but trusting your own process to make those tough calls is what got you this far. Dont change when the decisions matter the most.As always, these rankings will be updated throughout the week and right after inactives come down for the early-afternoon games Sunday.Begin Slideshow
