TnS, Slot, Revive strike deal on anti-phone theft application

Track N Shield (TnS) Limited and two leading mobile phones marketers in Nigeria, Slot Limited & Revive technologies, last week, at the popular Computer Village located in Ikeja, Lagos, unveiled a milestone partnership for the deployment of Track N Shield's anti- mobile phone theft application. The deal will assist Track N Shield to use their outlets nationwide as sales points to sell the ground breaking anti-theft mobile application. This strategic partnership is key for the organisations as they synergise their services to give smartphone users true value for their money and help secure vital phone data.This partnership is expected to quickly help put TnS on the map of Nigeria as the two major distributors of phones have presence in 20 states in Nigeria with a combined 29 stores and counting.With the increasing use of electronic payment platforms and mobile purse services in the country, it is a welcome development to see such a partnership that pre-empts the loss of vital data which can compromise financial and other sensitive information.This arrangement would see TnS staff being deployed to all Slot and Revive outlets to help phone buyers or any other member of the public buy and install the TnS application. Users can also get help on functionalities of the application and resolve any issues they have that could not be resolved using the online and call centre help services of TnS. Customers who walk into these major stores will have opportunity of asking questions and seeing the product demoed and a lot of hidden features revealed. With the spread of the two stores, TnS will be able to reach much more phone users and expand its market. The Managing Director of Track N Shield limited, Mr Abu Grema, revealed that the partnership was born after months of discussion and having successfully demoed the application to the satisfaction of the management of the two companies.He said that while it might seem profitable for phone sellers that people should continue to lose phones and buy new ones, phone sellers are also a part of the community and even they wish to put a stop to the menace of stolen phones in Nigeria, hence the strategic partnership with TnS.
