Abia guber: Court clears Orji as PDP candidate

A Federal High Court yesterday declared Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State as the authentic gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state for the April poll. The court, however, enjoined Governor Orji to extend an olive branch to his main challenger for the position, Chief Ikechi Emenike, for the interest of peace in the state, having acknowledged that the plaintiff was a grass roots politician with large supporters.
