Falconets 'll make Nigeria proud - Eucharia Uche

FOLLOWING the 2012 Fifa U-20 Women's World Cup draws in Tokyo, Japan yesterday which pitched Nigeria's Falconets against Brazil, Italy and Korea Republic in group B, former Super Falcons coach, Eucharia Uche has stated that the Nigerian lass are the team to beat in the competiton.The former Falcons player said the nation's campaigners are the favourites to progress from the group and would make the country proud."Group B is not bad, I don't see any problem for Falconets qualifying from that group."There is no country in the world that the present Under20 team cannot successfully handle and win."They have one of the best coaches in the land. Falconets are experienced and have been exposed to the highest level of football."They have advantage of qualifying ahead of Brazil who I reckoned are not really fantastic at the age grade competitions."The Falconets are the team to be feared in that group and not the other way round," said the Bayelsa Queens coach.Africa's second representatives, Ghana, which are drawn in Group D with two-time world champions USA, title holders, Germany and China PR.The draw was presided over by Tatjana Haenni, Fifa's head of women's competitions assisted by four star members of Japan's 2011 Fifa Women's World Cup winning side, namely Homare Sawa, Kozue Ando, Azusa Iwashimizu and Saki Kumagai.The tournament hold from August 19 to September 8 this year. The 21-day fiesta will take place in five venues, Hiroshima, Kobe, Miyagi, Saitama and Tokyo playing host to the final.The top two teams from each group progress to the quarterfinals.
