Traditional medical practitioners urged to shun propaganda

The National Vice-President,Association of Nigeria Traditional Medical Practitioners, Chief Salihu Mohammed, has urged members of the association, particularly the newly elected officers of the association in the South-West zone to disregard all the propaganda sponsored by some dissidents in the association.Chief Mohammed said this during the inauguration of members of the executive held at Osogbo, Osun State, recently.According to Mohammed, instead of listing to the propagandists they should come together as an entity and work hard to take the association to the next level.Speaking with Community News after the election, Chief Mohammed said the election was conducted by the national body of the association, adding that the new executives would direct and steer the ship of the association in the South-West zone in next four years.He said; the election was witnessed by all the six states in the South-West geopolitical zone, where officers were elected into various offices.Officers elected were; Chiefs Falade Isiaka (chairman); Isiaka Solagbade (vice-chairman); Ajibade (secretary); E.S. Oluwatayo (assistant secretary); Ismaila Morakinyo (auditor); Lasisi Adebayo (financial Secretary); Sunday Atooba (PRO); Isaac Fawemimo (ex-officio I); and Saka Adegoke (ex-officio II).
