Negris Group unveils Victoria Towerhead office complex

A LAGOS-BASED firm has launched an ambitious plan to deliver a 10-storey head office complex, located within the Central Business District (CBD), Ikeja, Lagos, which will assist the energy, oil and gas company to expand its operational reach.The project promoted by Messrs Negris Group, according to a senior officials of the firm, will be delivered in earnest.Presently, construction work on its new site has commenced, and upon delivery, the structure would add to already existing high-profile buildings in Ikeja, Lagos.The Guardian learnt that at the moment, the company has its head office at Isheri Road, Aguda-Ogba, Ikeja, but due to need to expand, the new complex evolved.Christened Victoria Towers, the project is located along Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, few minutes drive from both the international and local airports and Alausa, the seat of the Lagos State Government.Contractors appointed to handle various aspects of the job include, Messers Dori Construction Engineering Nigeria Limited as developer, NOAR Konsult Architectsconsulting architects, COSTEC consultantsquantity surveyors, and Joak Engineering Consultants as structural engineers.Other consultants include Kresta Laurel Limited (lift contractors), Mecholet Engineering Associates (mechanical engineering), SATO Engineering Associates (chartered engineering and building consultants)electrical engineer, Oscar Fibre Nigeria Limitedmechanical sub-contractors, electrical sub-contractor, Inter Unique Engineering System Limitedsystem and fire fighting.The Victoria Towers size of the floor plate increases with each floor from 1,364 square metres at ground level to 1,415 square metres at penthouse level. Each level boasts a minimum of four open-plan office spaces.Individual reception areas welcome visitors and occupants to each floor as they exit any of the twin semi-panoramic lifts. The penthouse area is made up of luxury penthouse suites with the benefit of outdoor terrace where spectacular views of Ikeja can be enjoyed.Other facilities are; corporate security and security house with physical access control to enter and exit the premises, 24-hour power supply with two prime power generators, uninterrupted water supply, two panoramic passenger elevators, one services elevator, underground car parking level, as well as additional first floor level parking, integrated security and CCTV system, central air conditioning with individual temperature control for each floor, executive male and female toilet facilities located on each floor, fire detection system, water and sewage treatment plants.According to Brand Manager, Negris Group, Mr. Abiodun Kolapo, construction of the building is a strategic move by the company to consolidate its position as a foremost indigenous integrated energy solutions provider.A befitting corporate headquarters for Negris Group is long overdue, having been a major player in the power and oil sectors for over 30 years. The building would be a unique combination of location convenience, ambience, opulence, modern services and facilities. It is deliberately designed to ensure occupants have the benefit of enjoying their own space. All these combined make Victoria Tower an ideal building for corporate users of any size, Kolapo stated.
