I was going to office when... -Elder brother

ABIODUN Adefemi is the elder brother of the late footballer.  I got the news through Olubayos childhood friend, Emeka who put a call through to him. I was on my way to work (at the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce and Industry). In fact, Emeka was supposed to pick Bayo up at the Airport on arrival the same morning he died.I find it unbelievable when Emeka informed me of the incident. I thought I was dreaming but when somebody from  the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), called  me, It was then I realised it was a reality.Then how to break the news to my mum became a problem because I knew how  much she loved all of us, but, I later informed the church venerable who later broke the news to her.His death came as a rude shock to the entire family. We will miss him dearly because he was always willing to do one thing or the other for the family. He would not want the family to lack anything if it means at his own expense. That was Bayo for you, he did not joke with the family.On the rumour going the rounds that Bayo had a child through another lady, Abiodun said there was nothing like that. He has no child and as you can see, he was just planning for his wedding when he died.
