Emenike's mother escapes kidnap attempt

SUPER Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike's mother escaped kidnap attempt yesterday according to his younger brother Ebuka.Ebuka revealed that the kidnappers were either targeting his father or mother but to the glory of God, the evil act was averted.'Five armed men tried to kidnap our mother this morning (Sunday) from Emma's house in Anambra State.'I was actually not there but we were called shortly after the incident happened that my mother sister came out from the gate to get something from the town before she was hold at gun by five guys on motorcycle who later told her point to cooporate in order not to lose her life, they threaten her with gun but she shouted for help and while trying to escape, she was injured by the gun men," Ebuka said.The attempt against Emenike's family took place at around 8:00 am, another family member said.Emenike's father was with his wife preparing for Sunday service when the incident happened.
