N2bn scam: EFCC arraigns Adabanya, 11 others

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Monday, arraigned 12 accused before Justice Gladys Olotu of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on a 22-count charge bordering on money laundering to the tune of over N2 billion.Those arraigned were seven individuals and five corporate bodies. They were Chidi David Adabanya, Uzoma Ibe, Andrew Feyaikeban Ebakpa, Kwokwo Ebiki Bina, Beneth Ezekiel-Hart, Bolouwenimo Kwokwo and Presley Ebakpa.Others were Forstech Technical Nig Limited; Gastroil Ventures Limited; Bilyiis Integrated Services Limited; Fun-Ala Nigeria Limited and Fambo integrated Services Limited.The seven persons pleaded not guilty to the charges read to them, while the judge granted bail to the accused in liberal terms, as each was granted bail in the sum of N5 million and one surety in like sum.
