Aregbesolas wife hosts special children

Wife of Osun State governor, Mrs Sherifat Aregbesola, recently hosted handicapped children at a party organised to mark this years Easter celebration.The celebrations, which took place at the premises of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC), Osogbo, saw children with physical challenges celebrating with the state first lady.Addresing the children, Mrs Aregbesola said that they should not see their disabilities as a disadvantage to their achievements in life, adding that they should strive to climb to the uppermost ladder and be at the top of their career.She also counseled mothers to pay attention to their health status during pregnancy, as well as that of their children after birth in order to reduce and avert occurrences of impairments in children.Mrs Aregbesola also noted that when mothers immunise their children and take advantage of the improvements in the medical services and facilities provided by the State government, the children would live a disease free life and grow healthy.She called on Christians to adhere strictly to Jesus teachings of humility, selflessness and love to all mankind. She further charged christians to emulate Jesus Christ indeed and in words, saying that they should abstain from sins and do things that would promote peace, unity and tranquillity in the State.Mrs Aregbesola also celebrated Easter party with children at Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Oke Pupa, Osogbo.
