Teams Upbeat As Insurance Games Enters Week Two

FOLLOWING a weekend of opening season's drawn games; teams in the NigeriaInsurance Games 2012 season are set for the second week of matches with playersupbeat about securing their first full points at the University of Lagos Sports Complex today and tomorrow.Two of the players voted MVP last week, Tosin Oladosu of NEM Insurance and Gbenga Adegboro of Union Assurance, are already talking tough as their teams meet this weekend for what has been dubbed the match of the week..Tosin Oladosu of NEM Insurance, who was voted Man of the Match in their opening match 0-0 draw against Sovereign Trust Insurance (STI) has assured the team manager of a prolific outing this Saturday when they square upagainst last week's high scoring side, Union Assurance.'I feel the burden of lifting my team to a successful defense of the title we won last year and we need goals to achieve this ambition. Football is team work and we have noted the lapses in our open game and will make corrections this time', Oladosu remarked ahead of the crunchy encounter against an equally ambitious Union Assurance.But Adegboro, whose curling free-kick has been listed as a possible goal of the tournament, is already warming up for the overall tournament highest goals' scorer when he declared that 'my ambition is to propel my team to the title as the golden boot winner.'Yet another opening week's scorer, Raman Oyibo of Cornerstone is confident of improving his goals' tally when they confront new comers, Industrial and General Insurance in the last fixture of Week Two.The other fixture of this weekend is between STI will confront Leadway hoping to have thesupportive presence of their Chief Operating Officer, Sammy Ogbodu, who was on hand in their opening match against NEM Insurance.
