Oyinlola set for Ibadan Golf Classic

THE President of Golf Federation of Nigeria (GFN), Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and golfers across the country are ready for the maiden edition of Ibadan Golf Classic scheduled for this weekend at the Ibadan Golf Club (IGC), Onireke reservation area, Ibadan.Speaking to TribuneSports, one of the sponsors of the tournament, Giwa Biodun Asuni said all is now set for the tournament which begins today with the cocktail party by 7pm at the Ibadan Golf Club.The main tournament is expected to tee off tomorrow by 10am and Sunday morning by 7am while the closing ceremony holds the same day by 4pm.Some of the clubs expected are IBB Golf Club, Sagamu Golf Club, Micon Golf Club, Ikeja Golf Club, Ikoyi Golf Club, Tiger Golf Club, IITA Golf Club among others.Asuni, about 400 golfers across the country are expected at the tournament.This year's tournaments is co-sponsored by Amni international Petroleum, Diamond Bank, Soft Alliance, Grand Oaks among others.
