Jonathan congratulates Flying Eagles

PRESIDENTGoodluck Jonathan has congratulated the Flying Eagles on their victory on Sunday in the finals of the 2011 African Youth Football Championships in South Africa.According to a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ima Niboro, issued in Abuja on Sunday, the president praised the artistry, doggedness and resilience shown by the Flying Eagles in their hard-fought 3-2 victory over Camerouns under-20 team.The President said that the Flying Eagles had made the entire nation very proud with their exploits and ultimate triumph in South African which has earned Nigeria a record sixth African Youth Soccer Championship.He assured the team and its handlers that the Federal Government will continue to give them all necessary support in their quest to win more laurels for the nation on the global stage.
