This fan theory about 'Beauty and the Beast' doesn't make any sense

In the song, Belle pays a visit to the bookstore and discusses her favorite book with the shopkeeper."Far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells...a prince in disguise," Belle says to the shopkeeper, summarizing the plotof the book.According to the Tumblr post, Belle could possibly be hinting at the plot of "Aladdin," which when "Beauty and the Beast" hit theaters in 1991, was still a year away from it's debut.Set in the fictional city of Agrabah and complete with fight scenes and a genie, "Aladdin" definitelyincludes some of the plot points Belle mentions."Here's where she meets Prince Charming, but she won't discover that it's him 'tilchapter three," Belle also sings, furthering the "Aladdin" and "Beauty and the Beast" connection, since Princess Jasmine falls in love with Aladdin under the misinformed idea that he is a prince. Refinery 29 points outthe lyric could also be a hint about the release date for "Aladdin," asthe two films were released exactly one year and three daysapart. (It's a bit of a stretch.)While it's certainly a fun theory, it's more likely that Belle is foretellingher own love story with the Beast, rather than dropping spoilers about anotherfilm. The "chapter three" love discovery of a "prince in disguise" Belle sings about is probably her own, after she falls in love with the Beast, despite her initial misgivings.And that "far off place"' Most likely the Beast's castle, where Belle is kept locked up, far away from her beloved father and home. Gaston ensures plenty of fight scenes in the film and since everyone in the castle is under an enchantment, there's also plenty of magic.But don't take our word for it.
