Odemwingie is going nowhere - Coach

WESTBROM boss, Roy Hodgson has vowed to hold on to Nigerian striker and the clubs leading scorer, Peter Odemwingie.The Nigerian international bagged his 14th goal of the season in Saturdays 2-1 victory over Aston Villa to virtually guarantee his sides place in the top-flight for another season.Odemwingie has been a revelation since moving to the Hawthorns last August for a modest £1m and his efforts for the Baggies have not gone unnoticed in other quarters.Hodgson said: You cant stop people like Peter attracting attention. Our aim with Peter is to make sure he is happy here with us and he wants to stay with us.I dont know what offers will come our way for him and, if they do, we will have to deal with them. But our intention is to build on what we are doing at the moment.Weve laid some sort of foundation, our aim is to build on it and make the place a lot stronger.We are not going to do that by messing around with our current foundations.
