Community leader tasks lawmaker-elect

A  communityleader in Odoluarea of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Honourable Nicholas Edemaku,  has called  on the members-elect of state assembly  in the area, Hon Friday Sani, to use his wealth of experience to influence laudable projects to the area.Speaking with Community News in Lokoja, the capital city, the community leader, who commended the people of the council area for massively supporting the victory of Sani in the state assembly election, expressed assurance that the community would be better for it in the next four years.Edemaku, who said that Odolu community  witnessed improvement when Sani was in charge of the state youth empowerment under Governor Ibrahim Idris, called on the member-elect state assembly  to influence government attention to the community.The community leader, who mentioned areas of urgent attention to include; rehabilitation of the community road, completion of the drainage system, boosting of power supply and the empowerment of youths in the area, stated that all these projects, when completed, would better the life of the residents of the community.While expressing confidence in the state the lawmaker elect, Edemaku said that Sani has been a motivating factor and emancipator of the youths in the community and the council area. He further charged the state lawmaker elect to justify the confidence reposed in him.
