British Council to hold education fair in Abuja, Lagos

TO ensure accurate accessibility to information by prospective Nigerian students who wish to study in any of the United Kingdoms (UK) universities at various levels, the British Council has concluded arrangements for the 2011 Education Fair. This years exhibition, the eighth of its kind, will feature representatives from over 50 institutions, according to the Councils Country Director, Mr. David Higgs, who addressed newsmen at a recent media parley held in Lagos. His words: We have organised this fair to affect every area of importance. It will feature sessions on career and professional development; information on studying in the UK; application processes and procedures; top tips on the UK student visa process, available financing options and different scholarship opportunities available. The fair, which will hold in Abuja and Lagos respectively, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 17th and Wednesday, 18th February at Transcorp Hilton Abuja, and also between February 21 and 22 at the Expo Centre of Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos. It will open from 10.am to 4.pm each day. One entry ticket will cost N2,000.
