Ibadan considered for F/Eagles, Benin friendly

THE city of Ibadan is on line to play host to Nigeria's U-20 side, the Flying Eagles who are slated to confront Benin Republic U-20 team in a friendly match.Information from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) stated that the Oyo State capital may likely stage the encnounter with Lagos State also pencilled down as the likely venue of the match billed for July 14.The match according to the President of the NFF, Alhaji Aminu Maigari is being packaged to put the team in shape ahead of the African Youth Championship (AYC) qualifier against Tanzania on July 28.The Beninoise recently held former World U-20 champion, the Black Meteors of Ghana to a goalless draw in another friendly tie decided in Ghana.The John Obuh tutored lads who featured in a recent eight-nation invitational tournament in Cape Town, South Africa have been training in the capital city of Abuja since their return from the South African tourney early last month.
