Success is defined by the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English as the attainment of eminence. There are sides of success but the one I want to concentrate on here is financial success. This refers to becoming rich and wealthy in life. I have heard a lot of young people saying they have to be rich now by whatever means.Financial success is a process; there is no overnight success. Wealth, riches & success answer to time and specific actions. I believe everyone can be rich because, success is by choice. You can be rich in life without unnecessary struggles and corruption; through following the path to wealth. The path to wealth is narrow & only few follow itLet me show you the simple process!All that is needed for the creation of fortune is an idea backed up with action- Zig Ziglar Two things are in this statement:1. Idea: The Foundation The foundation or starting point to fortune or financial success in life is to have an idea. The idea is the beginning of every financial achievement and success in life. Think of any rich man or successful man in our nation, be it in business, talents Industry, etc, you will always find them with an idea.Femi Komolafe said problems are the gateway to success. Open your eyes and see a problem around you, come out with a solution, then money will begin to pursue you. People like Aliko Dangote, Afe Babalola, Wale Babalakin, Mike Adenuga, Wale, Adenuga, Ebenezer Obey, Onyeka Onwenu, Nwankwo Kanu,etc., all began with an idea.My friends, I think your first victory over your financial hardship and struggling is to pray to God for an idea or think about a problem you want to solve around you. Or what (product) you want to offer to your community or nation at large. It is not the location that makes you rich, its an idea. Great establishments like MTN, Zain, Lifeforte, AIT, Idea Konsult, Nigerian Tribune, Tell Magazine, Cocacola etc, began as an idea. Start your ideaEvery big institution (Mention any) or establishment started small. For Instance, you want to start a standard school that will cost you N5 million, and all you have on you is N50,000 or not even up to that, why cant you start with a good, quality lesson well packaged and well publicised in that communityIt is only the grave that starts from up to down, every other thing starts from the ground to the top is a wise saying. If you are waiting for big money to start, Im sorry the big money may never come and so you may never start. Big money will locate you in the cause of doing it. CocaCola started with $500 but in the cause of time, it attracted big investors and the public. Today, its a multibillion dollar company with branches all over the globe. You dont jump to the top, you climb in a process to the top. Every adult was once a child.Why you need to start small.1. Socially, people may will not support you until they see you doing it.2. Practically, anything that does not pass through the growth process will notlast.3. Ethically, people may be afraid of you when you dont have a story.4. Naturally, mighty trees begin as small seeds. It is a small seed that grows to be a mighty tree having diverse branches, like the mustard seed. Global stars started as local stars and global champions started as local champions. If you cannot first shake your community and immediate environment, how then can you shake the nation not to talk of th world.The tallest building in the world began with a block at the foundation.Dont be afraid of starting, dont be afraid of the temporary pain you will go through before your manifestation.Pleasure is valuable, meaningful, and appreciated when it is preceded by pain. Any pleasure not suffered for cannot stand the test of time. In Entrepreneurship, business stagnates between the first 2 to 3 yrs of establishment. You need to aim high, dream big, think big, plan big, but you need to start small. The only bridge between idea and success is starting.
