CIBN holds annual general meeting

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) is set to hold its Annual  General Meeting (AGM). It is slated for Saturday, May 7, at Ijewere hall, Bankers House, Victoria Island, Lagos.According to Head, Corporate Affairs of the Institute, Mr. Ben Igbokwe, it is the tradition of the organisation to render yearly accounts to its members and other stakeholders, adding that all is set to make the meeting a huge success.He further stated that Mr. Laoye Jaiyeola, the President/Chairman of Council, of the Institute will preside over the AGM which will attract top bankers and other distinguished dignitaries from other sectors of the economy such as chairmen and chief executives of banks, past presidents of the Institute, presidents of other professional bodies, top government functionaries, fellows, honorary senior members, associates and among others.Igbokwe added that the purpose of the meeting is to consider the annual reports, accounts and other important matters affecting the Institute and the welfare of members.
