People all over the world are using Tinder, Facebook, and Twitter to campaign for Bernie Sanders

Young voters are certainly "feeling the Bern," and they've taken to digital platformsto recruit more Bernie Sanders supporters.More than 400 people' from the US and 14 other countries' havevolunteered to campaign on Facebook, Twitter, and Tinder, one ofthe campaign'sleaders Brendan Zerafa tells Tech Insider.It's a global effort to persuade more people to vote for Sanders in the 2016 US Presidential Election.The campaign, ImagineBernie, launches this week.Keep scrolling tosee how Sanders advocatesaregrassroots campaigning with these platforms.People from 15 different countries have volunteered to campaign so far. The recruits design memes and plaster them on Bernie Sanders fan pages and Facebookgroups with Democrats and Independents. This is one of the first ads:Zerafa, 21, says volunteers will direct message userson Twitter and Facebook. Every conversation will be different, but they will ask things like, "What do you think about theprospect of tuition-free public colleges and free healthcare'"Volunteerswill also discuss areas Sanders is weak in.The campaigners aregeo-targeting cities and towns that Sanders needs more help. If Sanders isn't doing well in South Carolina, local volunteers will message people on Twitter and post ads on their personal Facebooks.
