Adewale tasks committee members

CARETAKER committee members in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State have been enjoined to bring their wealth of experience to bear on the council.The advice was given by the caretaker committee chairman of the local government, Honourable Adeleke Solomon Adewale, at the swearing- in ceremony of the new members, at the Olagbami-Osekun hall, secretariat complex.The chairman implored the new committee members and special assistants to justify the confidence reposed in them, by living up to exepctations.Adewale also charged them to cooperate with the council management and workers, to further the progress and development of the local government.I enjoin you to be dedicated and transparent, honest and live above board in the discharge of your duties, he stated.The council also called on the new members to guide the good name of the local government, by protecting its integrity.He appealed to party leaders and members not to manipulate the new caretaker committee members by allowing them to work for the people.In his response, a member of the caretaker committee, Mr Paul Olaleye, assured that the new committee members would cooperate with the council authority to move the local government forward.Other members of the committee included Mr Awujoola Gabriel; Mrs Yemisi Atoba; Mr Simeon Akanbi; Mrs Ramota Dauda and Alhaji Tijani Gbemiro.The new special assistants included Tayewo Oyebunmi; Rasaq Amusa; Adeola Ojo; Sunday Ayoola; Adeleke Femi, among others.
