Ayedire LG boss lauds gov

THE chairman, care taker management committee of Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State, Honourable Gbenga Ogunkanmi, has commended the state governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, for his laudable andpeople oriented programmes since assumption of office.Ogunkanmi, in a release said Aregbesolas coming to Osun would bring the state to the desired end as he would make the state an envy of all.Hon Ogunkanmi  also called on the Federal Government to increase the monthly statutory allocation to local governments saying the local governments were the least paid among all the 30 LGs in the state.Despite our little allocation, I have succeeded in carrying out alot of developmental programmes, ranging from grading of roads, prompt payment of staf salary and allowances, regular financing of Environmental Sanitation programme, ensuring the safety of lives and properties of the citizenry, regular consultation with the community people to know their needs, ensuring of good working relationship between the caretaker committee members and the career committee members and the career officers, maintainance of peaceful co-existence among the people of Ayedire local government among others, he said.
