Cooperate with government

Communities in the Ede North local Government Area of Osun State have been enjoined to cooperate with the government in order to alleviate  their  problems. The advice was given by the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the council, Dr.Bello Tiamiyu Adesina, in his office.Within the inauguration of this government during the short period of eight weeks, we have done so many things in meeting the yearnings of our people in our communities.First of all, we have solved the problems of erosion along Apena compound and Colonel Laoye street. Also, we repaired Agodo village borehole as well as Apena village borehole too, he said.Bello, who showered encomiums on the governor of the state, Mr.Rauf Aregbesola, for giving them a free hand to rule, said this gives us the ample opportunity to go to the nooks and crannies of our community and solve their problems.In order to have a good and standard market in our community, we need to buy two or three houses and convert them to shops. But, first, we will refurbish the existing stalls owned by the council, so as to increase our Internally Generated Revenue, he added.Bello used the occasion to warn residents to desist from dumpimg refuse in the streams during rainy season, adding that this would avert any flood disasters in the area.
