Community leader charges members as Ekiti PDP chairman tours communities

A leader in Iludun community in Ilejemeje Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Mr Duro Faseyi, has charged members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state to remain peaceful and help their communities and the state at large to grow.The community leader spoke while playing host to the chairman of the party in the state, Mr Makanjuola Ogundipe, and the leadership of the PDP in the state, who were in Ilejemeje Local Government Area as part of the party's tour of the council areas.Faseyi said the visit of Makanjuola-led executive and leaders of the party to Iludun community was significant, saying members of the party should always place the party's interest above personal agenda at all times.According to him, 'for the party to stand a better chance of winning elections, there must be peace, cooperation, understanding and sacrifice by all members of the PDP in the state,' adding that 'members of the party must especially work hard at bringing every membertogether for a robust PDP in the state.'Chairman of the PDP in Ekiti, Mr Makanjuola Ogundipe had told the two-time lawmaker that he and other executive members of the party in the state were in his house as part of the familiarisation with members and leaders of the party in the state.Among those in the entourage of the PDP were deputy chairman of the party, Mr Femi Bamisile; secretary, Mr Tope Aluko; youth leader, Mr Taye Olatunji and Adeola ogunrinde.They were able to enlist the support of the former lawmaker representing Ekiti North Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives as well as other leaders of the party in the council area.They also agreed to form a formidable group capable of facing any election in Ekiti State with a good measure of assurance for success now and in the future.
