Muslims tasked on national unity as Ramadan begins

AS this year's Ramadan draws near, a community leader and chairman, Chief Executive Officer, 'K17' Capital Limited, Chief Adeniyi Adeoye, has called on Muslim brothers and sisters to use the period to intercede for the unity and oneness of the country.Chief Adeoye, who made the call in a statement made available to Community News, expressed displeasure over the incessant killings that had thrown the people of the country into a state of confusion and appealed to them to use this period to ask for divine intervention in the matter.He said 'if the killing of innocent souls is stopped and people from all parts of the country see themselves as one, there will be uniformity, unity and harmony and peace will reign in all nooks and crannies of the country.'Chief Adeoye, who affirmed that there was nothing impossible for God to do, argued that if Muslim faithful could sincerely pray to God to head the country, all would be well with it.The community leader further preached against segregation, sectionalism, nepotism and any other form of untowards habits that could dis-integrate the country.
