Gateway FC fires 12 players

THE management of Gateway FC of Abeokuta has placed twelve of its players on tranfer while only ten have been retianed for the 2012/12 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.,The club has also effected the payment of sign on fees to all its players and officials.Media officer of the club Biodun Alabi told Tribunesports that the players placed on transnsfer were those found not good enough during the team's failed efforts to return to the premier league in the recenlty concluded 2011/12 season.On the sign on fees, Alabi confirmed that all the players and the officials have been payed adding that the step was taken to avoid indebtedeness to any player and official ahead of the incoming season.Meawhile, the club will resume preparation ahead of the new season on July 29
