Rep urges Nigerians to imbibe lessons of Ramadan

Honourable Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, representing Atisbo/Saki-East/Saki-West Federal Constituency of Oyo State at the House of Representatives, has urged Nigerians to imbibe the lessons of the holy month of Ramadan for the good of the nation.In a statement issued at the weekend, the lawmaker urged Nigerians to demonstrate love and perseverance, the two major virtues on which the fasting is premised.'We need to show love to one another. If we are loving, there would be less criminality in our land and our country would be a better place for all of us to live in. If we are long suffering, we will bear with the government in its effort to improve our country,' he said.Honourable Abisodun, who is the Chairman of House Committee on Urban and Regional Development, also congratulated all Nigerian Muslims on the opportunity to witness the holy month. He also assured the people of his constituency of his unflinching commitment to their welfare.
