Residents ofOjodu Berger inIkeja area of Lagos have called on the Lagos State Government to beef up security in the area to arrest incessant cases of robbery and stealing that are very rampant in the area.Community News learnt that the area, because of its position as the point of entry into Lagos, was open to all sorts of bad people who always attack people, especially those arriving from various parts of the country to the state.A resident, who is also a manager of a transport company in the area who sought anonymity, lamented that their passengers always fell victim of the miscreants who always attacked travellers to and outside Lagos.The transport manager told Community News that these robbers  usually operated with motorcycles, double-crossing their victims to disposess them of their money, handsets and other valuables.Another mode of operation of the bad boys, according to Community News finding, is by mingling with genuine passengers, who they later rob with dangerous weapons.These people usually operate between 4.30 a.m. to 7.30 a.m. and they often hide under the cover of darkness to cause mayhem he said.He advised the state government to extend Oshodi miracle to Ojodu Berger motor park by providing light to illuminate the area to prevent the robbers from using darkness to cause havoc.Apart from that, he said government should enforce the law banning the use of okada from 10.00 to 7.00 p.m
