O'jez inducts awardees into Hall of Fame

THIS Sunday, celebrity hangout and restaurant, O'jez Restaurant, will celebrate all recipients of the monthly O'jez Entertainment Forum Award for the first half of the year. This is in line with its yearly tradition of pooling all recipients from January till June and throwing a joint bash in their honour as well as formally inducting them into the O'jez Hall of Fame.Scheduled to hold at the O'jez Restaurant inside National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, starting from 7.30pm, the event is packaged as a night of fun, comedy, music and dance.Thus, the likes of Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, Otunba Babatunde Okunuga, Nollywood actress Sikiratu Sindodo, veteran actor Justus Esiri and celebrity designer Mudi will be formally inducted into the O'jez Hall of Fame.CEO of the outfit, Joseph Odobeatu said in a statement issued by his media company, Media Image Managers (MIM), 'We ensure that on the seventh month of the year, we induct all recipients of the O'jez Entertainment Forum awards in the last six months into the O'jez Hall of Fame. This is a ceremony that is dear to our heart because so far, there is no monthly award running in the country at the moment. We have been able to sustain ours for a couple of years now, consistently'.The evening would be spiced up with performances from veteran highlife musician Fatai Rolling Dollars, backed by the O'jez band. Africa 's Michael Jackson will also be on hand to deliver electrifying dance steps while top comedians Elenu, MC Shakara, Elder O among others, will ensure a dose of laughter while the show lasts. Nollywood comedy star, Charles Inojie would conduct the evening as usual.Odobeato further stated, 'The Sunday event will not be different from our monthly awards night. In fact, it will be more fun-filled as there will be lots of surprises lined up for the night. We at O'jez like to be spontaneous; that is why we remain one of the best highbrow entertainment hangouts in the country at the moment'.
