Southern Kaduna: Video details shocking carnage, destruction

The scale of the violent killings that happened in southern Kaduna following the recent post-election violence was made even clearer by an amateur video recording obtained by Weekly Trust. The clip, a little over 30 minutes, begins with a mass of corpses laid out, being counted. The video, which had no audio at that point, continued to show volunteers and aid workers working in groups to move large numbers of burnt or decomposing corpses. Most of the people shown were either wearing surgical masks or had cloth tied around the lower part of their faces, noses included.
