Niger Friendly vital to Eagles - Keshi

SUPER Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has declared that much importance would be attached to the international friendly between the Nigerian side and the Mena of Niger.Keshi made an early return to Nigeria from the US where he has been on holiday to prepare his squad for the match scheduled to hold on August 15 in Niamey.Speaking on his return to Nigeria on Tuesday, Keshi said he decided to return early from the US as he needs ample time to prepare for the game."It's important to come back (to Nigeria from the US) early as it would give us enough time to prepare for the game against Niger."It is an important game because it will serve as preparation for our Nations' Cup qualifying game against Liberia," he said.The Big Boss has already released the list of players that will prosecute the encounter which the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)arrange to keep the team in shape ahead of the 2013 Africa Nations Cup final qualifying match against the Lone Star of Liberia.Nigeria will visit Monrovia on September 8 for the first leg while the return leg holds two weeks later.
