These iconic UK city scenes have been altered to look like Disney characters are playing in them

London-based photographer Rich McCor has captured the internet's attention with his incredible photos of British cityscapes reimagined as scenes out of Disney films.The 29-year-old who lives in Batterseaalso known as @paperboyo on Instagram, where he has 138k followers held up paper cutouts of characters from films like"Peter Pan" and "Beauty and the Beast" in front of landmarks such as London's Big Ben and Liverpool's Albert Dock to create gorgeous silhouettes.McCor has been experimenting with photography and paper cutting for years. "Butit was only last summer that it occurred to me to combine the two," he told Business Insider over email.His latest project was created for the digital entertainment membership service DisneyLifethe films that are most popular with members have been included in the project. "A few of my photos already had a Disney theme, even before this collaboration, because many Disney scenes are so iconic," McCor said. "So when Disney asked me if I'd like to create some scenes for them it was easy to say yes.""It was great fun trying to explain to passerbys[sic] why I was holding up bits of black paper in front of my camera ('Oh, I'm just doing a job for Disney')," he said.Next, McCor is planning to go to Hong Kong in April to work on content for its tourist board, as well as New York in May. "I'd love to be in Rio for the Olympics to create some sport themed cutouts so I'm trying to find a way to make that happen," he said.In the meantime, check out his stunning Disney cutout photos below.Bristol's Clifton Suspension Bridge was turned into the race track for Dash from "The Incredibles."Sully from "Monsters Inc." cut a fuzzy silhouette in Cardiff, at the Millennium Centre.Liverpool's Albert Docks makes a romantic backdrop for the ballroom scene from "Beauty and the Beast."See the rest of the story at Business Insider
