Osun: Aduramigba community seeks end to power outage, stench

Residents and Baale Olu-Aduramigba community in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State, have appealed to the local government to rescue them from the social amenities problem they are facing.The Baale of the community, Chief Emmanuel Babatunde Abidogun, made this known to Community News at his palace recently.The traditional ruler stressed that the community was faced with numerous problems of which electricity supply was the major one, while lack of good road was another.Abidogun said further, "since August 28, 2011, we have been in total blackout. This means a year a go. Also, the feeder road that links Ogbomoso to Osogbo road which is the source of moving round the local government area without crossing to other local government is in a bad shape.""The dumping site at Jagun Estate is another problem that we are facing due to the stench that comes out from the site' he said.The monarch, however, thanked the state governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, for coming to their rescue by fencing the dump site, but said that something must be done to reduce the stench, in order to stop possible epidemic in the area.
