I don't want to lose my boyfriend because of his mother!

Dear Taiwo, I am dating a guy, we both love each other and we hope to get married. A friend of mine advised that I seek God's counsel concerning our relationship which I did.All the places I went to; I was told that our relationship would be a fruitful one, but his mother would be a problem in the future. When my mother heard this she refused to give her blessing. She said I can't marry him while she is still living. I love my mother and will not want to disobey her because she has done a lot in my life.I really want to make her happy, I want her to pray for me. Then seek her assistance in prayers too. Place everything in God's hands as He has the heart of the kings and princes in his hands. He can touch every heart of stone, for a positive change.I will suggest that you should not tell your fianc all these for now. Do not create a strain in your relationship. For whatever it is worth, she is his mother, you can't change this. Do not allow him to begin to think you would not want his mother around when you eventually get married, prayer is the key.
