MMIT, Bango increase online transactions with virtual wallet

MOBILE Media Info Tech Limited and Bango.net Limited have introduced M-Content, a virtual wallet that will enable Nigerians make live payment for content on social networking and gaming sites.The companies said on Monday that the solution would solve the problems being encountered by Nigerians and other Africans, who wish to make online payments on Facebook, Skype, I-Tunes Store, Android Store, Amazon Store, BlackBerry Store, EA Sport, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo-online gaming and many more.The Managing Director, MMIT, Mr. Jide Akindele, said the drive to put an end to the difficulty, which had denied many Nigerians some deserving opportunities, led to the partnership with Bango.net Limited.'With this partnership, millions of Nigerians and other Africans will finally be able to make online and mobile payments for goods and services offered on hundreds of international social commerce websites without their payment cards being rejected,' he said.Akindele added that the innovation would change the face of online and mobile payments in the country.MMIT is an IT product and software development company with emphasis on mobile money transfer and payment solutions.Bango is a global technology firm founded in 1999 to capitalise on the growth in the number of mobile phones and the arrival of the Internet on the devices.Bango collects payment from mobile users for online content and services and is used by the world's leading app stores and thousands of smaller content providers.
