Emenike sinks Yobo in UEFA Champions League tie

NIGERIA'S captain, Yobo Joseph was helpless to see compatriot, Emmanuel Emenike, sending him to a long night as Emenike had the last laugh in a UEFA Champions League playoff decided in Moscow yesterday.Emenike of Spartak Moscow hosted Yobo's Fenerbahce in the fixture and in the 59th minute, Emenike inspired a 2-1 win when he scored the game's first goal in the 59th minute after a tight, goalless first half.The bulky hitman got to the ball before the duo of Egeman Korkmaz and Gokhan Gonul and skillfully drove the ball past Fehmi Mert Gunok in Fenerbahce's goal. Emenike's goal against his former club was neutralised by former Liverpool's ace Dirk Kuyt who netted in the equaliser off a fine assist from Senegalese striker and former Lille player, Mousa Sow in the 65th minute.However, the hope of Yobo and his teammates of escaping with a valuable away draw was dashed when Dmitriy Kombarov scored the winning goal in the 69th minute to send the home fans into raptures.
